woken by mum this afternoon to help drive her around for viewing. was pretty busy back-to-back from 1.30 till 5. hope she closes the deal for today's client!
dropped her home and went over to clementi for much needed haircut! it was getting into my eyes non stop.
joined the rest at pepperoni pizzeria (its under the Les Amis group, so i had high expectations of it) at hillcrest, off bukit timah for uncle alvin's birthday dinner.
place was very cosy, jukebox, foosball table, good size bar, al fresco or indoor dining options. every square inch of the walls were decorated with memorabilia, posters, collectible clocks and etc. food was very worth the money, don't expect fancy service and exotic foods. good place to bring the family, much recommended. go for the 21inch pizza, which is available in HALF-HALF (as in 2 different styles) and the portobello mushroom is a must try! vongole was so-so, bland IMO. squid ink pasta was too herby and the initial sight of it may turn off most, so you may want to avoid ordering that as well.
place serves hoegaarden & stella artois draft and has live sports on. bring the boys :D
verdict : will i return to this place? HELL YEAH.

haven't been posting the last few days as i've been stoning and hadn't been snapping! caught alot of prison break (halfway thru season 3 now, in 4 or 5 days) which reflects roughly how serious i mean when i use the word stoning.
got this from some site. LOL @ HAYWIRE & BELLICK.
met up with fai denden & joce after eons for dinner at orchard, had the chicken rice at far east. kai kai around the spanking new ION mall, i don't see why orchard needs another taka/paragon. my take is that the heartland malls are kicking ass (take jurong point's recent expansion as a comparison) so the old timers are trying real hard to retain some shopaholics in the city area.
singapore needs a JatuJak MARKET! & pratunam - for the ladies.
vivo with love today for carl's jr and harry potter. totally regret going for the movie, the book was great but wtf was the movie about. W-T-F. should've heeded wt's advice -.-

cold storage x barrage for 11th x wine connection

went picnic shopping with love at rail mall for the trip down to marina barrage! shopping with her is hell, she wants this, i want that, and it never ends. planned to reach the barrage by 4pm (when it's not so hot), but only reached at 7pm! it was messy as there's no real light other than the footpath lighting on the platform, so we couldn't see what we were eating. lesson learnt : GO EARLY.
my slippers gave way while walking down from the platform! got to get a new one now :(
off to wine connection, where we hadn't gone back since our 2nd or 3rd. had a selbach reisling which was very nice, abit too sweet for me, but love enjoyed it many. met up with bryan, and he's promoted to manager since the last time i saw him, he was just a floor staff. may consider applying for a position there, EXCITED! :D

been down with a sore throat since saturday, wake up feeling like crap.
went up the causeway to get RAMLY, talk about nostalgia. business was madness, ramly is the new hotcake. the effort that goes into each and every burger just make the ramly's in singapore look so damn mediocre. just setting you back RM3 (SGD 1.25) for a beef special and RM4.50(SGD 1.90) for a beef double special, is there any resistance to temptation?

tanyoto at liang court for lunch buffet with mum, bro and uncle. had been there before, but only for dinner, and they were raving about how much better the lunch shift was. trying to nurse a sore throat doesn't suit steamboat buffet at all, so couldn't really savour much of it.

golden mile's pineapple fried rice was MMMMmmmmmm~ 9/10! will definitely go back to try more dishes. heard the tom yum clear soup and beef kway teow there was out of the world, but how can you go to a thai restaurant and not have pineapple rice!
